Temporary Closure to March 30th, 2020 during State of Emergency.

March 17, 2020

We are temporarily closed until March 30th during our local and provincial State of Emergency. We intend to come back to keep giving you wonderful shopping experiences! Check back here as decisions are made daily. In the meantime, some vendors will offer online shopping. You can find your favourite vendors under the Vendor button at the top of the page. Each vendor page has a logo link to your preferred method of communication, whether that be phone, e-mail, or social media accounts.

We have seen kindness and strength in the past week. Thank you to all who have kept in touch to see how we are doing. A vendor and one of our landlords are in the medical profession. We send all our thoughts and strength to them. We would like to thank the Regina's Warehouse District ladies and Rebellion Brewing Co for their tireless work on behalf of local businesses. Thank you to the Kozan family for their belief that we will survive and thrive long term.

We Are Open! Statement from the YQR Vintique Market Managing Director

March 17, 2020

Hello everyone. Hope this finds you well!

We had a meeting today about the implications of Covid-19 on our newly opened Antique & Vintage Market. We are made up of 11 vendors who each run a small business. Our vendors are strong and committed to staying open. So how do we do that?

1) First we ask both vendors and customers to stay home if you are not feeling well, coughing, or running a fever.

2) We will ask that you use the bottle of hand sanitizer hung by the front stairs when you enter.

3) If you must cough please do so in the crook of your arm.

4) We will increase our cleaning schedule and include frequent touch disinfecting.

5) Vendors will frequently hand wash or hand sanitize because they deal with money and point of sale purchases.

6) We will close on Tuesdays until further notice. After a busy Saturday Market, this will give items 72 hours to sit which is the maximum time the virus can live on surfaces..

Saskatchewan people have a history of overcoming obstacles and hardships. It is our tradition to help each other. Think about supporting local businesses through this time, they are our neighbours and friends. We will all get through this time together by helping each other.

Vintique This Week: Open at 10am, Cheesecakes, & Bargain Barons Visit

March 7th, 2020

Hello Everyone! Here we are, just two months in business. We have enjoyed your visits immensely. Lots of new faces every week. The big news is we decided to open an hour early! We will be open 10am to 5:30am, Tuesday to Saturday at 1279 Osler Street in Regina, SK. Early risers rejoice! click here to read more....

Our friends, Karen and Rob Baron run a YouTube GoPro channel called Bargain Barons. They tour sales, thrift stores, antique shops in and around Saskatchewan. They are owners of an older era home and like to collect items that will match the era of their house. I had some coffin plaques that I knew they would love, and while they were there they bought some books and a 1920s jewelry box. If you haven’t made to our Market yet, see their video here: Thanks Rob and Karen for visiting, always great to see you.

The Cookie Lady and ReLiked Vintage & Retro have partnered up to offer individually wrapped cheesecake with coffee for $5! Look for the kitchen booth to get your choice of Saskatchewan Saskatoon or Raspberry flavours.

Thanks again for reading. Ada

Welcome to our Vintique Blog!

February 20th, 2020

New place, new vibe and now, a new website! The idea for YQR Vintique Market began in June 2019. We began actively looking for a space in August 2019. While the collection of vendors changed over the coming months, three friends stayed on course. Bart Schaefer of YQR Mantiques brought a wealth of business experience from his time in the auto wrecking and tow trucking businesses he ran for over 20 plus years.
